Big Positive Impacts

Call them BPI’s, saves time, saves paper.

By being consistently entertaining, provocative or informative they transform people’s reaction to a brand from an eye roll to a welcome.

And continue to build people’s relationship with a brand until they actively enjoy spending time in the brand’s company.

What dreams do you have for your brand? Where do you want to get to? What is possible?

That’s our start point. Then we work backwards from there.

No rules. No preconceptions. No limits. What’s the best way of creating the kind of BPI you need to make your dream a bloody great big real and joyous thing?

Capabilities

IT'S ALL POSSIBLE

From forensic strategic thinking, to holy cow creative ideas and agile, never-drop-a-ball production, we’re a collective of specialists focused on making Big Positive Impacts for our clients.

Design and branding

We work with existing and new brands to develop compelling propositions and platforms. Our work with companies like DFS, Krispy Kreme, Pets at Home and Fiat now influences every aspect of their business.

Advertising

We use advertising to create Big Positive Impacts, to transform peoples’ reaction to a brand from an eye roll to a welcome, and ultimately change how much time people are happy to spend in a brand’s company.

Social

Our team of social experts have developed "social sense", a methodology to help brands navigate the choppy waters of social. We believe brand social should always be about doing good, or helping people feel good.

Digital

Our digital team is crucial in delivering fully integrated campaigns. But they also have their very own 'digital clients', for whom they create anything from fully immersive interactive experiences to fully programmatic deployment, and everything in between.

Customer Experience

Ignore anybody who tells you that customer experience needs to be complicated. Our team of CX experts (we call them Ethology) will help you break down complex problems into manageable, affordable solutions so you can deliver rapid, measurable improvements in your organisation.

Content

Our in-house team, k-works, delivers cost-effective content for use across all social and media channels. With facilities in Norwich, Leicester and London, we can cover every aspect of content production – from writing to filming, and from editing to distribution.

B2B

Our B2B teams are our hidden gem, consistently fusing brilliant sector knowledge with creativity to deliver long-term solutions across a wide range of clients. A testament to their good work is that our two longest client relationships (18 and 22 years) are both B2B clients.

Direct and CRM

For many of our clients a one-to-one relationship with prospects or customers is key. Working with contemporary – often mind-bending – technology, our team are experienced in developing full customer journey programmes through to tactical sales drivers.

Experiential

For some brands and consumers the only way is up-close and personal. We love everything from pop-up sampling through to giant shows where cars appear by magic (thanks, Dynamo!). Ideas are our start point, but we know that without brilliant production and logistics, stuff doesn’t happen.

Retail

With clients like DFS, Wilko and Pets at Home, we get retail. Our IPA Gold Effectiveness Award for DFS in 2018 was a thumping stamp of approval from the rest of the industry.

Digital Listening

Using Brandwatch and other digital listening tools, we’re able to identify and understand shifting mindsets, moods and motivations. Our team apply this information to your business needs, giving you actionable insights to inform comms and respond appropriately.

Leadership

The Senior Bods

Seen enough to have picked up a diverse wealth of experience, spanning all kinds of work, businesses, and sectors. Hungry enough to make krow an amazing and rewarding place to be, for our clients and for our people.

Leadership

Dawn Marrs

Managing Director

With over 25 years’ experience in UK and international integrated agencies from Saatchi & Saatchi to Cheil, Dawn knows her stuff. She brings the perfect combination of skills to head up krow – a client service background and the passion to push the strategic and creative agenda. She doesn’t get much downtime, so she spends it wisely, enjoying travel, long walks, good books and good wine.

Leadership

Tom Carter

Deputy Managing Director

Tom heads up krow’s Client Services team across a portfolio of B2C and B2B brands. He’s spent over 15 years helping businesses of all shapes and sizes flourish through insightful marketing, in every sector from tech to tourism. He’s got his hands full with a young family, but that hasn’t stopped him learning to weld on the side.

Leadership

Andrew Davies

Strategy and Planning Director

Andrew manages krow’s team of brand, channel and data strategists. His strong suit is in financial services, with an impressive track record leveraging brand as a business asset to deliver bottom-line value. Now his kids have flown the nest, Andrew’s trying his hand at laser sailing and wine tasting. Just not at the same time.

Leadership

Jemma Marchant

Client Service Director

Jemma is in charge of keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do. Having worked with big name brands for 14 years, she’s perfectly placed to help krow’s clients create the innovative, industry-leading ideas they need. A keen traveller, the only thing Jemma doesn’t like about getting away is missing her beloved Labrador back home.

Leadership

Mike Howes

Creative Director

After working as a senior creative on international brands for over 20 years, Mike decided he was ready for the ultimate challenge – leading krow’s team of multi-disciplined creatives. His biggest passion (after cycling, of course) is directing work that feels genuine and natural, capturing the unique essence of each brand in a human way.

Leadership

Eliot Sykes

Head of Customer Experience – Ethology

Eliot leads Ethology, krow’s Customer Experience Consultancy. By working with brands to really understand their customers’ needs and expectations, Eliot helps deliver powerful and differentiating customer experiences. When Eliot isn’t spending time with his family at the coast, you can find him supporting the ‘mighty’ Norwich City.

Leadership

Stewart Yuill

Finance Director

As Finance Director, Chartered Accountant Stewart controls krow’s purse strings and heads up a team of management accountants. When the winds are moderate, you might find him taking a break from number crunching on the Norfolk Broads, sailing vintage yachts with his family.
